Learning with us

To meet and engage with other people from different parts of the world, in our opinion, is one of the best ways to learn a new language. We aim to help our students improve their language skills in a friendly and stimulating atmosphere by providing an extensive educational and cultural programme, and by ensuring that their needs are understood and met at all times.

Wordparlour is independently owned and was founded by former language teachers who are passionate about delivering high-quality language learning programmes.

All of our courses are taking place online but you do have the opportunity to participate in excursions and language holidays in various European countries. Our offices are located in Ireland and Switzerland.

CEFR Aligned

Our courses are aligned with the CEFR (A1 - C2). Upon completion of your course, you will receive a statement of participation.

Improve fast with one-to-one lessons tailored to your level, interests and individual needs. You can start at anytime and meet your teacher in a free trial lesson.

Course Material

For each level you will get a virtual course booklet containing grammar structures & vocabulary. Every week your teacher will also equip you with exercises to practise after class.

Small Groups

Classes are taught in groups of maximum eight to ensure enough speaking time per participant. Before you enrol, you can attend a free trial class.

Extracurricular Lessons

You can combine your weekly group classes with our debate club, business conversation class or writing training and join free events.

Flexible Options

After you have completed your first term, you have the option to continue with the same days and times on the same level or switch to different days and times on a different level.

The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is used in teacher education, the reform of foreign language curricula, the development of teaching materials and for the comparability of qualifications.
